Genevieve LeMarchal is the Managing Partner of Suncoast Ventures. Prior to Suncoast She launched and ran Expert Dojo’s healthcare program and ran 3 full cohorts of health tech and medtech companies, becoming one of the most prolific early stage vc investors in Southern California (Crunchbase, 2022) and winner of the 2022 Biocom Lifescience Catalyst Award. She is passionate about entrepreneurs, and advising an mentoring founders. She loves to innovate financial models and find better ways to structure and fund companies and do deals.
She previously served as Partner at a science focused advisory and fund in formation, was a General Partner at a small Oregon-based VC Fund, and she is co-founder of the Pacific NW based organization, XXcelerate. She is the host of the AdVentureous Podcast and often writes and delivers talks, keynotes and training to entrepreneurs and investors about venture capital and entrepreneurship, impact and equity investing and more.
She is a Pacific Northwest native and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Recognized as one of CB Insights top 150 most innovative digital health companies.
MDLIVE, the telehealth arm of Cigna's Evernorth, acquired Bright.md to expand its reach into asynchronous care.

Dr. Tammy Mahaney is a former Army Captain, Doctor of Nurse Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner. Tammy served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp leading national forces in healthcare settings. She has received certification in the Advance Course with the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) and has 20 years of nursing experience ranging from Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, Cardiology, Telemetry, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and worked In Los Angeles as a Gamma Knife Nurse collaborating with a specialized team of world-renowned Neurosurgeons, Anesthesiologists, Physicists, and Radiation Oncologist in helping patients with brain tumors.
She is passionate about holistic-integrative health and volunteers in global health missions where she has served in clinical settings in Nicaragua, Tanzania, Vanuatu, El Salvador, and Ecuador. She has travelled to six continents and over fifty countries around the world on medical missions. Tammy is an active community builder and volunteers as a nurse consultant and sonographer at a busy pregnancy center in Las Vegas, NV and in downtown Oakland, CA with a focus on empowering and educating underserved minority women.
She and her husband are active in the community as volunteers and philanthropists. Tammy currently lives with her husband and 4 of their 10 children in the Bay Area in California along with their Golden Doodle and 3lb Yorkie.

Chima’s unique experience as an Olympic athlete and entrepreneur has been instrumental to his success as a disciplined angel, healthcare professional, entrepreneur and now VC at Suncoast Ventures.
Outside the boxing ring and the football field, Chima Osuka spent his younger years helping out in his family’s chain of clinics. He has spent over a decade advising corporate VCs and accelerators in London on best practices. He spearheaded the Google Launchpads program in Latin America, partnering with South American officials to advance innovation on the continent.
He helped launch Diverse Angels, a syndicate that enables diverse fund managers to invest in over 50 companies, underscoring his commitment to diversity in venture capital. Additionally, Chima launched Anthem Inc's incubation and innovation arm as Director of Portfolio Innovation at Elevance Health, creating a fast-track program that accelerates startups’ market readiness.
Chima is known for his innovative financial strategies and robust support for startups.
Chima is a serial entrepreneur and athlete. Prior to his career in health innovation and investment, he launched a chain of health and wellness food cafes, he did a stint on the US Olympic team as a Boxer, and a Football player at San Jose State University.

Hal Walbrink is a recognized leader in the medical device space. In his current role as Founder/CEO of Xinetix Medical Product Development and Venture Partner at Suncoast Ventures Hal assists early-stage companies in formation, product realization, and commercial launch of healthcare related product offerings. Xinetix has served 90+ companies in its 27- year history, resulting in combined annual product sales of over $1 billion and greater than $4 billion in strategic acquisition and IPO valuation.
Hal has served 40+ years in roles ranging from Board Chairman to CXO, advisor, investor, and technical expert to over 100 companies. Hal is a recognized technical expert in ultrasonics, microfluidics, fluid dynamics, thermal tissue modification, tissue cutting/coagulation/ablation, endoscopy, digital signal processing and operating room communication, and control systems. His clinical experience includes ophthalmology, electrosurgery, critical care respiratory ventilation, minimally invasive surgery, and general surgery.
Hal and Teresa are parents to five children and live in Laguna Niguel, California.

Mark Rangell has over 35 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare and information technology, specializing in capitalization, strategy, marketing, product management, and corporate development. He has worked across all phases of business growth, from startups to multinational business units.
In addition to his role at Suncoast, Mark is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Execullence, LLC, a growth strategy consultancy founded in 2011, and x4 Capital Partners, a specialty SPV. Both firms have collaborated and co-invested with Suncoast in the past.
Previously, Mark co-founded and led Applied Pathways, a healthcare software company acquired by Anthem in 2017, and Quovadx, a provider of enterprise software that went public in 2000. He has also held senior roles at Thomson Healthcare, Novartis, and IBM.

Russ is an investor, Board Director, and Advisor to several emerging, innovative companies in the health and technology segments. Previously, he served as Global Managing Director of Accenture's Health Industry Group and Managing Director of the U.S. Health Payer Client Group. Prior to Accenture, he served as a Partner and Core Leader in the Health and Insurance Practices at McKinsey & Company.
Russ has a wealth of experience working with the world's leading health companies to deliver more effective care and higher quality and sustainable health outcomes.Russ started his career as a Pricing Actuary and Director of Underwriting at Travelers Insurance Company. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS).
Russ is also also co-founder the Center for Acupuncture & Anti-Aging Medicine. He has a strong passion for integrating Western and Eastern medicine with different therapies and health improvement practices to motivate behavior change and significantly enhance individuals' health and longevity.
