Chima Osuka supports founder development and ecosystem events. He brings more than a decade of experience across entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, and global startup ecosystems. He has built and operated businesses across health, wellness, and consumer sectors, and has advised corporate venture groups, accelerators, and founders internationally on growth, partnerships, and market entry.
He previously led innovation initiatives at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem), where he worked to accelerate startups into payer and provider systems, bridging early-stage companies with large-scale healthcare infrastructure. His experience also includes leading programs such as Google Launchpad in Latin America, where he supported founders and helped build regional innovation ecosystems.
Backstory
Chima’s path into healthcare and venture is rooted in a combination of lived exposure, performance discipline, and global ecosystem building. Growing up working in his family’s active care clinics, he was introduced early to the operational realities of healthcare — how care is delivered, how businesses function, and where gaps persist between service and system.
His trajectory then took a different form through athletics. After an injury shifted him from football into boxing, he ultimately reached the Olympic level, developing a performance mindset built on discipline, adaptability, and execution under pressure. That lens carried forward into his work as an operator and entrepreneur, where he built and ran businesses across health, wellness, and consumer sectors.
Over time, his focus expanded beyond individual companies into broader innovation systems. He spent more than a decade advising corporate venture groups and accelerators internationally, including leading programs such as Google Launchpad in Latin America and helping build investment ecosystems across emerging markets. Later, at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem), he helped launch and lead innovation initiatives designed to accelerate startups into real healthcare environments.
